Leicester City travel to face Roma as the English and Italian sides look to book their place in the Conference League final. Here is all the latest news.

There is no denying the critical significance of this away fixture. The King Power club need to write this season’s destiny tomorrow: a season which sees our first European final, or one which sees us midtable in the Premier League.

Roma on the other hand have plenty of European pedigree. The contest is essentially the new kid on the block versus an old guard. Their history does not need this, but the positive arrogance of Jose Mourinho will definitely yearn for another trophy.

As Brendan Rodgers prepares for the faceoff, let us have a look at what squad is available and what team we can expect to see him deploy.

Leicester City’s fresh team

The Northern Irishman has had a rough season with injuries. Probably 90% of the squad has had an absence for some reason or another, and this has upset the understanding of the team. Luckily, this is not the case now.

Rodgers has commented on the availability of players in the side during his pre-match press conference:

"“Everyone is fit and available, apart from Wilf and Ryan Bertrand”"

Hurrah! Finally, the Foxes will be so darn close to a full squad. In absence of Wilfred Ndidi, Leicester will have to rely on more possessive midfielders to hopefully mitigate any loss in possession from not having that ball-winner in the side.

Supporters can possibly guess the team which will be utilised. The only contention in my mind would be whether or not Marc Albrighton is preferred over Harvey Barnes or Ademola Lookman.

Predicted XI

I shall keep this part fairly brief as well. There is little to say really. The gaffer will opt for a first team, and I believe he shall prefer ‘Sharky’ over ‘Ade’. Therefore, the team will compose of a 4-2-3-1 with the usual suspects.

Kasper Schmeichel will start in goal, a backline of Timothy Castagne, Jonny Evans, Wesley Fofana, and Ricardo Pereira, a midfield of Youri Tielemans, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and James Maddison, Jamie Vardy upfront, and Barnes plus Albrighton on the wings.

Though there will be a squad refresh in the summer, this team is good enough to beat any side. We showed that we can dominate possession and progression against Roma last match, this time we have to dominate creativity in the final third.
