Young player of the year

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – another award where we all knew who the player would be. Who else other than KDH? Wesley Fofana was a close second, I would’ve given it to him but because of his injury ruling him out for the majority of the season the Shepshed boy wins it on this occasion. Performance after performance he put in 100 percent every game, chasing balls down and being aggressive, you just love to see it, we have a very exciting young player on our hands and potential future captain.

Most injured player of the year

Wesley Fofana – now this award had a long, long list of contenders, including James Justin who is highly commended after missing 20 games with a cruciate ligament rupture, but due to the French man’s Fibula Fracture sustained in City’s pre-season friendly against Villarreal in August 2021. Fofana has since missed 32 games for Leicester but in his four Premier League appearances has also kept one clean sheet. I am also giving this award to Jonny Evans who sustained two injuries, foot injury and hamstring injury, whilst also missing 13 games.
