Fans spot WWE superstar John Cena at the Chelsea vs Leicester game

Leicester City closed the gap on Wolverhampton Wanderers for the eighth spot in the Premier League table ahead of the final matchday of the season.
A hard-fought draw away at Stamford Bridge was a delight for the Foxes. A curler from James Maddison opened the game with enthusiasm. Later, Marcos Alonso was able to cancel it out with an equalizer. The rest of the game saw Chelsea enjoy the possession, but to no avail as the East Midlands side held on till the final whistle.
Fans were bemused to witness the images circulating online of the WWE superstar John Cena attending an exciting Premier League clash against two blue sides. If you are still wondering when did all this happen and how you didn’t spot him, then maybe you can’t see him.
The reason for Cena’s appearance has stirred up a lot of conversation, as the American sports entertainer has previously claimed to be a Tottenham Hotspur fan. So naturally, his presence in the executive box alongside the new Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, raised a few eyebrows.
Boehly, an American businessman, is closer to settling a deal for the take over of Chelsea as we speak. The takeover via a consortium is impending their approval from the Government and the Premier League. Sadly, despite having been to two Chelsea games, Boehly is yet to rejoice in a victory of the London-based side.
Cena has been a part-time in-ring competitor and is looking to make his return back to the squared circle soon enough. As Boehly is the interim CEO of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and as Cena has resorted to becoming a full-time actor, the visit was not unintentional as fans would make it.
The 45-year-old actor is working on an unnamed project, for which his new association with Boehly has surfaced. Leicester faces Southampton next for the final game of this season, while the world still awaits the crowning of this season’s champions.
