James Justin 8 – Justin looked fantastic out there and he is one of the reasons Schmeichel had an easy day today. He was making great tackles and was marking anyone who came his way. When he made his way up the pitch, he made the passes that were needed and helped our offense roll smoothly.

Wesley Fofana 8 – Another great game by Fofana. He was a penalty away from giving the foxes their eighth clean sheet in the league. Fofana was making beautiful standing and sliding tackles throughout the game. Southampton’s attack was just not able to figure out Fofana today. He was too quick for their counter-attack and he was too strong and wise for the possession play.

Jonny Evans 8 – An awesome game from Evans. Not only did he show us his skill in this game, but he showed us his heart as well. He and Adam Armstrong had a bad clash of heads, but Evans was able to power through. He played fantastic the whole game.

Timothy Castagne 7 – Castagne played well at right-back until he was subbed off in the 69’. He also held Southampton from cutting in and was able to keep them outside. Despite a good defensive effort, Castagne missed some key opportunities in the first half which kept us goaless in the first half.
