The five players Leicester must sell in this transfer window

Jannik Vestergaard – Nothing worked well for the ex-Southampton centre-back here. The addition of the Danish international was a personal recommendation from the manager himself. Though the Blue army had their doubts regarding the move, they at least hoped that the 29-year-old would be able to utilize his height for something. After seeing him participate in 20 games for the Foxes this season, the fans want nothing to do with the defender anymore.
Vestergaard performances have regularly caused the fans to become agitated as much of them made the defender look utterly confounded and commit silly mistakes. His lack of decisiveness has trapped the side in many compromisable positions. The outfit can still expect to land around £10 million if they act quickly to find a side that is interested.
Çağlar Söyüncü – After the initial promises, this season has only been an eye-opener for the Turk. Many of his fragilities became a reality check as the backline was left exposed on far too many occasions. Söyüncü continued to struggle by making erroneous judgments as he did not have an on-field guide.
The 26-year-old’s lack of leadership got hurt because his partners, who complimented him, kept on shuffling. His poor performances eventually demoted him. The Turkish international did not play at all in the last six games of the campaign.
The silver lining in this situation is that the centre-back’s market price has not yet taken a nosedive. Amidst tough negotiations, Leicester City can still afford to sell him for around £35-40 million across Europe.
