Leicester City release six professional players from club
Leicester City Football Club shall released six professionals from their ranks at the end of the month. The leavers include senior goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic, and five other less prominent players.
With paid transfers finally allowed, Leicester must act fast to acquire some of their wanted men. Foxes of Leicester have published several articles outlining the ideal signings; as well as writing about our preferred selections to seek. In the meantime, LCFC has allowed some existing athletes to leave. There may be more to go, though FoL does not expect any more prominent or proven Foxes to depart Filbert Way, naturally.
Though Youri Tielemans could well go; selling feels like the only available option at this point as he would be able to move for nothing in one year. Wesley Fofana is also the focus of speculation; £68million would supposedly capture his signature.
However, selling arguably the most promising asset would only worry the fan base further. There is concern that a minimal budget will lead to the East Midlanders sliding further down the Premier League table and away from the top six places.
Along with Jakupovic, the only person on the senior roster, Callum Hulme, Vontae Daley-Campbell, Tyrese Shade, Jacob Wakeling and Will Russ have left Leicester. FoL wish them all good luck for the future.
