Release dates for Leicester’s away and third shirts revealed
A recent article reveals the dates of Leicester City’s away and third shirts being released. This emerges amid a club apology for the home strip delay.
Welcome to Foxes of Leicester’s roundup on this Friday evening. Thankfully good news emerged from Filbert Way earlier today, as predicted. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has renewed his contract on a long-term basis. The midfield dynamo may be with the Foxes for another five years on a deal that lasts until 2027. And well-deserved that agreement was, too. Congratulations, Kiernan.
However, the more vocal and impatient members of the Blue Army continue to bombard official LCFC social media accounts with demands for new signings. While FoL understand the frustration of certain supporters, they are wasting their energy. The club will acquire fresh talent, but in their own time.
Though, with an increasing number of poorer King Power team captures transpiring in the very recent period, we too are more worried than usual. Recruitment chief Lee Congerton has departed Leicester, and it remains to be seem what approach is taken next.
Getting incomings and outgoings right in the market is so important for Leicester this summer. But the apparent minimal war chest definitely won’t allay fans’ fears of not following rivals’ preemptive business.
New Leicester City kit issue explained and dates for away and 3rd shirts
Another aspect of preseason which the faithful get excited about is always kit for the upcoming season. The slightly underwhelming home shirt – on limited sale today in the fan store – was released this past week, to mixed reviews. The £63 price tag certainly did not help. Supply chain problems were blamed, and LCFC did apologise for the delay and low stocks.
Meanwhile the away and third strips are yet to be announced or shown to the public. Although, Leicester Mercury claims the away top will be displayed in late July, and the 3rd not until near the end of August.
