Wesley Fofana – 7.5

The French defender’s aerial ability was prominent from the opening minutes of the second half as he leapt over his opponents to capitalise on a perfectly weighted cross from Maddison to make it 3-0. Fofana remained comfortable with the ball at his feet and reminder the Blue Army why he was so dearly missed when injured last season.

Boubakary Soumare – 8

After a disappointing first season at the King Power Stadium, Soumare put in an impressive performance in Wednesday’s friendly. He made his impact felt immediately as less than two minutes after entering the game he made an impressive run and assisted Harvey Barnes to make it 2-0. Soumare was strong defensively and could very easily have scored a goal himself when he struck a half volley and forced an impressive save.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 7.5

Leicester City’s latest academy graduate continued to show signs of improvement. Dewsbury-Hall combined with his teammates effectively and was everywhere on the pitch. His defensive work-rate was on full show as he committed himself to a number of tackles to win possession back for the Foxes.
