James Maddison – 9

Maddison’s supreme run of form continued with a dominant 45 minutes. Maddison created numerous opportunities for the Leicester City attackers and finished the game with a superb piece of skill to score a goal himself. If this is what ‘Madders’ is like in preseason, then the Blue Army have plenty to look forward to once he reaches full match fitness.

Harvey Barnes – 7.5

A solid preseason outing from the LCFC winger. His game got off to the perfect start when he scored in the opening minutes of the second half. Barnes looked dangerous when he was on the ball and combined well with Dewsbury-Hall and Justin. There was still plenty of room for improvement, but it was a positive overall performance.

Marc Albrighton – 7.5

It was another workman-like display from Albrighton. He linked up well with Maddison on the right wing and made a couple of crosses into the area, which were not converted. Despite his lack of pace, Albrighton continues to find ways of having an impact on the game.

Jamie Vardy – 7

City’s main talisman was once again running in behind the defence for the entirety of the time he was on the pitch. His timing of runs at times was not the best, but he was always a threat. In usual Vardy fashion, the Foxes striker did not get a lot of the ball. The times in which he found himself in possession, the striker was unable to convert the chances, but it was still a positive performance from the 35-year-old.
