If you had not come round to it, it is time for Leicester City to be courageous and sack Brendan Rodgers. Here is why they must desperately act.

I could just point to the league table. However, I think it would be a little disrespectful towards the Northern Irish gaffer to simply dismiss any analysis of his game and just bin him. Rodgers has to be sacked because it is a necessity at this point.

A dreary Leicester City

Four games in, one point gained, bottom of the table. Sounds spiffing if you ask me. Truly this is the worst start the King Power club have had to a campaign in recent memory. Not just do the results look bad, the performances have inspired little as well.

Put it this way, when you play Arsenal and every single time the Foxes score, you immediately concede a goal within two minutes, that is a bad look. When Leicester play a 10-man Chelsea team and can hardly create anything until the final moments, before subbing off a critical progressor and creator, it is a bad look. Leicester is a bad look.

How far can Rodgers be blamed for these is questionable. To be honest, it would be unfair to single out the gaffer: but that is what I am going to do. Despite a lack of transfer activity, a lack of performances from players, there is more Rodgers could have done.
