Leicester City fans were yesterday greeted with the refreshing news that a permanent, first team transfer might finally be in the offing, in the shape of Stade de Reims centre-back Wout Faes. The first journalist to break this exclusive was Fabrizio Romano, and in doing so, he suggested the Belgian was not the only player on the Foxes’ wish list, and according to reports today, Jean-Clair Todibo could be another potential acquisition to Brendan Rodgers’ squad.

It seems the Ligue 1 market is a popular scouting network for the club’s recruitment team, as the defender is currently plying his trade with OGC Nice. A former France under-20 international, Todibo has made 51 appearances for Les Aiglons, making a 2021 loan move permanent last summer.

While the Frenchman hails from the same division as the aforementioned Faes, the two players are certainly different entities who operate in their own ways. Here at Foxes of Leicester, we decided to deconstruct Todibo’s game into three things Foxes fans need to know about their latest transfer target.
