Leicester City remain at the foot of the Premier League table, losing 1-0 to Manchester United in another turgid display. Foxes of Leicester scores the Foxes.

It is evident that this is a team lacking in confidence, we were flat, lethargic, and devoid of ideas. It seems as if our entire gameplan revolved around hoping for a bit of magic off the cuff from either James Maddison or Harvey Barnes. The solitary goal in the game was of our own doing, rather than Manchester United creating anything of quality.

Even when we went behind midway in the first half, there wasn’t ever any sense of urgency to respond. Nobody was willing to be proactive and take the game by the scruff of the neck . The atmosphere in the stands matched our lifeless display out on the pitch, and with just a solitary point from the opening five league games, who can blame them?

Leicester City player ratings:

Danny Ward: 5/10 – Didn’t have much to do really. But even when he did get the ball, his distribution was often shaky and indecisive. Daniel Iversen should be given a chance at Brighton on Sunday.
