James Justin: 5/10 – Hasn’t been the same player since coming back from his ACL injury. Despite no winger down his flank, he didn’t provide any sort of threat offensively. His shot ballooning into the stands at the end summed up our night.

Jonny Evans: 6/10 – Just one of very few players that can come out with any sort of credit. He led the line well and did what was required of him.

Wilfried Ndidi: 6/10 – Considering he was deputising at centre-back, like Jonny Evans he did as much as he could in a poor team display. Conceding just the one goal almost felt like a clean sheet!

Luke Thomas: 4/10 – Was at fault for the goal. Showed his naivety as he was committed far too high up the pitch, and Man Utd took advantage of it.

Boubakary Soumare: 6/10 – Was tidy in possession and gave a decent account of himself. Like each of our central midfielders, was ponderous with the ball, but that was probably down to a lack of options ahead of him.

Youri Tielemans: 5/10 – He was guilty of giving away possession cheaply. Rightly sacrificed for Kelechi Iheanacho with 15 minutes to go.
