The manager Leicester City should get to replace Brendan Rodgers
By Akash Roy
The alarm bells at Leicester City are ringing. Perhaps replacing Brendan Rodgers is overdue, but is it too late to decide on surviving?
These ambiguous questions couldn’t have arrived at a more sensitive time as the Foxes have to prepare for another litmus test, faring against their bitterest rivals in Nottingham Forest next. The million-dollar question now is when would Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha decide to part ways with the boss?
It’s no secret that Rodgers is unsure whether owners will keep faith in him after the Tottenham loss. Fans have expressed their immediate desire for an alternative, as they can’t expect the outfit to improve under the Northern Irishman anymore.
It’s also safe to say that the manager has lost the confidence of his players. Youri Tielemans is the recent example of speaking out about the tumultuous state of the team’s dressing room.
"“I’m happy to get a bit of fresh air here (with Belgium) because it’s tough at Leicester right now. It’s clear that things are not going well at the club. We are doing everything we can as a team. At Leicester, the consecutive defeats have affected us as a group. We need to benefit from this break to recharge our batteries. It’s hard to get it off my mind as it keeps running through my head. Only my kids sometimes prevent me from thinking about it.” – Youri Tielemans, Belgium."
Leicester City’s interest in Thomas Frank and its possibility
Thomas Frank is said to be one of the most favorable options for the King Power group. It’s not new. He was also linked with Brighton & Hove Albion a week earlier. It is a daunting task for Brentford to hold on to their manager with other teams sniffing around.
