Harvey Barnes: 7.5

An excellent first half display from Barnes backed up by an equally dangerous second. Getting in behind Joel Ward numerous times with sharp one-two’s with both Patson Daka and Dewsbury-Hall. He perhaps could of done better on his one chance where his first touch did let him down.

Patson Daka: 6.5

Pressed superbly throughout the game, causing multiple errors out of the Crystal Palace centre halves. Although having a few half chances nothing really clear cut he may have been disappointed he didn’t test keeper more than he should have.

Substitutes:

Nampalys Mendy: 6

Carried on where Soumare left off when he came on recycling the ball very well and keeping the tempo up, a nice cameo.

Jamie Vardy: 6

Gave Joachim Andersen problems in behind that left channel on a few occasions and was a very willing runner – as he always is – but just couldn’t find enough space to produce that end product. But still a solid substitute appearance.

Kelechi Iheanacho: 6.5

Extremely positive when he came on having a few shots at goal and looked very dangerous, just missing the clinical final ball.

Dennis Praet: 5

Very little impact in his limited minutes, therefore a default 5 is given.
