A Robin Koch own goal and a brilliant team goal tucked away by Harvey Barnes handed Leicester City a 2-0 win at the King Power Thursday evening. Here are the Foxes of Leicester’s player ratings from the win.

Danny Ward: 6.5

It may have been the most assured the Welshman has looked as his brief and unconvincing tenure as the Foxes number one. He was fairly confident claiming set pieces, made a vital save from a close range Liam Cooper effort at a pivotal moment in the game. A much more encouraging display.

Timothy Castagne: 6.5

Provided excellent width through the game and wonderful entry passes down the right channel to his fellow countryman Dennis Praet.  Defensively he was solid on occasion, he perhaps allowed Luis Sinisterra to come inside slightly too easily but overall a good performance.

Daniel Amartey: 5.5

Although it was not a performance riddled with basic errors – mainly due to Leeds’ incompetency in the final third. It was still not without its typical Amartey dispossession leaving his side massively exposed and had it not been for an excellent recovery challenge by Youri Tielemans, the Ghanaian’s rating would likely have been a lot lower.
