Leicester City beat Leeds United 2-0 at the King Power Stadium on Thursday evening, recording their second win of the season to take them off the bottom of the Premier League.

An own goal from Robin Koch and a goal for Harvey Barnes helped the Foxes to earn the three points after a tough game against fellow struggling side Leeds. Brendan Rodgers made two changes from his side that drew 0-0 to Crystal Palace. Patson Daka, was replaced with Jamie Vardy who was looking to end his ten game goalless run. The second change was Dennis Praet in for James Maddison, who was suspended after receiving five yellow cards. Here are our three players who impressed on Thursday evening:

Wout Faes of Leicester City

Another solid performance from the centre-back who is emerging as a cult hero for Leicester City fans. A natural leader at the back, you could see him aiding Daniel Amartey who looked unsure at times and telling him to push further up the pitch. He made crucial clearances all game and won his 50/50 battles, easing that pressure off his defence and putting his body on the line. He shows the passion and aggression the fans want to see and it appears they have soon forgotten about Wesley Fofana as they chanted ‘Wout’ around the stadium.
