With the Belgian national coach watching on, could the CB get his call up to the Belgium national squad? With a back to back set of clean sheets and a man of the match award, the Leicester City fans think so.

Dennis Praet

Praet made his first home start since December 2020, fans have wanted him to be involved with the first team for a long time, and when he got his opportunity on Thursday he certainly took it well.

He played a vital role in both goals, in the first he played a low cross to Harvey Barnes at the far post, Koch tried to prevent a tap in and in the second, a back-heel to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall who played it to Barnes who finished it with his first touch.

Not only did he play a vital role to both goals directly but also in the build-up, pressing the opposition to win the ball back all game and constantly making runs for the full 70 minutes he was on the pitch. It showed as he looked very tired in the second half.

Boubakary Soumare

Although Soumare made a few sloppy mistakes, you can see him improving week on week and is miles from the player fans saw last season.
