Foxes of Leicester list Leicester City’s current injury issues and apparent return dates for sidelined players Wilfred Ndidi and Jonny Evans.

Leicester’s performance versus Midlands rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers was thoroughly enjoyable for the Blue Army. FoL haven’t been able comment that a LCFC display was so convincing often this season, naturally.

A wonder-goal from Youri Tielemans set the pace at Molineux on Sunday, this was followed by a typical Harvey Barnes finish then James Maddison doing what he does best in front of goal. And, finally, Jamie Vardy bagging his first of the campaign.

King Power manager Brendan Rodgers has been heavily criticised for a lack of, or overall bad substitutions in 2022/23, especially when considering he can make five alterations in Premier League matches. Against Wolves, however, he seemed to get his changes right and at correct times. While their opponents had more shots, statistics can be deceiving as the Foxes were fairly dominant throughout.

The LCFC team’s real turnaround is being paralleled by goalkeeper Danny Ward. Ward was also previously slammed by many fans for inept showings – whereas he is now one of best performing stoppers in the English top-flight all of sudden. Incidentally, this transformation in fortune mirrors Kepa Arrizabalaga‘s Chelsea revitalising, too.

It must be noted that Belgian signing Wout Faes has sured up the Leicester defence endlessly. The centreback seems a real character and a truly great addition to the outfit. Though, the starting eleven has had to survive without regular starters for varying lengths of time over the last while, namely Wilfred Ndidi and more recently Jonny Evans.

When Leicester had successfully brushed aside WWFC, Rodgers spoke to the media about the fixture. Of course, the Northern Irishman was particularly satisfied and excited with the outcome and manner of victory. Weren’t we all?!
