Currently sitting 14th in the Premier League, Leicester City is looking to bolster its squad in the upcoming transfer window. The Foxes reportedly have had their eyes kept on two players, one currently playing in League One and the other, Ligue 1.

Despite the excellent play from Danny Ward recently, Leicester has been keeping their eyes on Brice Samba. So far, the Frenchman has seven clean sheets in 14 appearances for RC Lens. This is the second most in the league behind PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma. Before the shock transfer this summer, Samba played for rival Nottingham Forrest. The 28-year-old played historically well to help Forrest get promoted to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years.

Brendan Rodgers’ side has also shown interest in French midfielder Enzo Le Fee. The 22-year-old has been off to a hot start with FC Lorient. When featuring this campaign, Le Fee has scored two goals and assisted three. Lorient currently stands sixth in the league one standings. They’ve finished 16th in the past two seasons.

Both players are fantastic quality, yet would be affordable for LCFC. Lee Fee has a transfer value of around €12million while Samba has a transfer value of around €8m. Both players could make a day-one impact like summer signing Wout Faes.

If Youri Tielemans were to leave in an upcoming transfer window, Le Fee would be a great replacement. With still a ton of time to grow, Le Fee is brilliant at passing the ball. This season he has shown he can get the ball in the net too. The 22-year-old would make everyone else on the pitch better.

The stopper would give Brendan Rodgers an interesting conflict on who he would put in between the sticks each game. Ward has been playing well recently but, he has not earned the starting eleven spot yet. The former Tricky Trees man would give Ward competition and that is exactly what he needs right now. Samba has also proven in France that he can be EPL quality.
