How are Leicester City’s players getting on at the World Cup? Let’s find out via Ben Haywood in this tournament roundup for every Fox.

James Maddison – England

The timing was typical for James Maddison after picking up a knock to his knee in the final game before travelling with England. It’s been a frustrating time for LCFC fans with their main man being the only player not to be involved in Gareth Southgate’s matchday squads as of yet.

However, the Three Lions’ most creative midfielder has just returned to training in the hope to feature in the final group game against Wales. Southgate’s forward assets looked reluctant to get on the ball and failed to create any clear-cut chances against USA; a contest that a certain No.10 would have surely flourished in. Fingers crossed ‘Madders’ makes a deserved first appearance in a major tournament sooner rather than later!

Leicester City trio Youri Tielemans, Timothy Castagne and Wout Faes – Belgium

Two out of three Belgians from Leicester get regular game-time under Roberto Martinez, although they could soon be sent back to the Leicester City Training Ground. At the time of writing, the Red Devils sit third in their group after a shock 2-0 loss against Morocco.
