The ‘cult hero’ has also helped Daniel Amartey to grow as a player and has made him into a better player by giving him directions during games. Faes won’t shy away from a tackle and isn’t afraid to get stuck in, Leicester have also only conceded nine goals since Wout has come into the side which shows how much he has helped out what was a nerve-wracking defence to watch to help them progress into where they are now.
Leicester City now have the challenge of Newcastle United at the King Power Stadium on Boxing Day. The Foxes will be looking to take all three points to climb further away from the relegation zone. City currently sit in 13th place on 17 points after Brendan Rodgers’ side won four of their last five games in the Premier League before the winter break for the Qatar World Cup.
On the other hand, Newcastle will be more than determined to win the game which would see them go up to second place in the Premier League. Manchester City don’t play until the 28th December against Leeds.
The Magpies won five in their last five games in the Premier League before the break, so it looks to be an even matched game. However, Newcastle seemed to struggle to beat fellow Premier League side Bournemouth in their Carabao Cup game on Tuesday, so after a long break off this could be the best time for Leicester to play an in-form Newcastle side.
