It was a rough return from the World Cup break for Leicester City as they were defeated 3-0 at home against Newcastle. The foxes dominated in possession but did close to nothing with it. Leicester could only record two shots on goal which amounted to nothing. Meanwhile, the magpies were able to get scoring right off the bat.

Three goals in the first 35 minutes killed any chance of the East Midlands team getting points from this game. Without star player James Maddison on the pitch, the team looked lost. Many players should have performed better in what was a complete disaster of a game. None of the foxes looked motivated on the pitch. A lot of the players let the squad down.

Danny Ward of Leicester City

Danny Ward was on a great run of form until the World Cup where he played terribly for Wales. That poor form continued into the Premier League campaign as Ward struggled against Newcastle. He conceded three goals while only saving two. Along with the poor goalkeeping attempts, Ward was utter trash at distributing the ball.
