It will be interesting to see if LCFC decides to look for another goalkeeper in the winter transfer window. Bad performances like this can cause Leicester City to sink into relegation. Ward will need to get back onto his good form which will be challenging as Leicester’s next game is against Ward’s former club, Liverpool.

Harvey Barnes

Harvey Barnes was either nonexistent or a liability against Newcastle. This led to him being subbed off in the 75’ for Kelechi Iheanacho. Barnes failed to make an impact on the game. He was not able to complete a successful cross or get a shot attempt. The 25-year-old also committed two fouls while going 33 per cent in his ground duel attempts.

With Maddison being out, this was a big opportunity for Barnes to step up and cement himself as one of the best players on the team. When the lights shined on Barnes, he was not able to show up.

Wout Faes

It’s almost hard to believe that Wout Faes is on an underwhelming list but, he earned the spot with his worst performance of the season against Newcastle. The Belgian was able to make nine recoveries which saved us from dealing with another six-goal defeat. However, that does not make up for his poor positioning and IQ throughout the game.
