1: Victor Kristiansen pros and cons

Despite mainly being a fullback, Kristiansen provides versatility to the Leicester City squad. The Danish youngster can play fullback and up in the wide midfield area. Both of those are Leicester’s weakest areas. Kristiansen is a great defender who is already great in one on one situations. He is also great on the attacking end. In the Champions League this season, Kristiansen created four chances and completed 173 successful passes. He has had seven assists throughout his career.

Kristiansen has shown great durability for his young age. He has played in 72 games throughout all competitions and has impressed in all games. These 72 games include appearances for the Denmark national squad. Where the fullback struggles is in the air. The 5’9” fullback tends to get beaten in aerial duals. Besides that, the left-footed fullback has been strong in most areas.

2: Despite his young age, he provides European experience

At just 20 years old, Kristiansen provides more European experience than a lot of the Leicester City squad. FC København was in the Champions League this season. Their group included Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla F.C. Kristiansen started in five games and subbed on in the other. In his six appearances, he was impressive. He was successful on 88% of his tackle attempts and he completed 80% of his passes.
