Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has given media and supporters a Foxes transfer update. Along with mentioning his wish for more trophies whilst he’s with the King Power club.

Rodgers spoke with assembled journalists at LCFC’s Seagrave Training Ground on Monday prior to the League Cup Quarterfinal clash with Newcastle United. Naturally the Northern Irish manager gave details on the fitness of the King Power squad, which you can read here.

But in this article, we’ll briefly focus on what the ex-Liverpool head coach said of prospective upcoming signings and a desire for silverware. Regarding transfers this month during the window, the Carnlough-born man revealed that hard work is apparently occurring at the King Power club. He remains hopeful that Foxes will receive good news soon.

Concerning trophies, the 49-year-old declared that winning another would be “fantastic”. Furthermore, Rodgers confirmed that lifting another trophy is the outfit’s aim.
