The club has minimal money

As the board has seemingly made it clear, we have almost no money. We struggle to make transfer news throughout both transfer windows this season. If we have some money to dish out, do we really want to use it on McTominay? We have a netspend of £3million which is ridiculously low. It is challenging to convince the club to dish out some cash. So is the Scot really the player we will spend money on? McTominay is not a player who is going to keep us afloat in this tight relegation race.

It is undeniable that the East Midlands team is in a rough situation. Just a couple of seasons ago we were contending for Champions League football and now we are in the midst of one of the most challenging relegation battles in recent memory. With our current form and attitude, we are destined to be one of the three teams to get relegated to the championship. We need a major shift and some signings this transfer window would help up exponentially. Unfortunately for us, if that transfer is going to be McTominay, then we’re screwed. There is no other way to put it.
