Rodgers doesn’t appear to trust the midfielder, even when he is out of options. With only four starts, Praet has little to no hope of redeeming his importance in the current squad. Ultimately, the repeated letdowns to step up can also be attributed to some untimed injuries, acting as a setback that adding to his woes. At 28 years, it’s a safer option for the club and the player to chase his dreams away where he finds his footing back. This choice may seem harsh, but I believe LCFC are better off with a replacement, essentially.
Luke Thomas– Once promising and developing left-back has found stagnation hindering his progress at the King Power Stadium. The ardent has blamed it on the club because a loan spell to the promising Championship would have been beneficial. Now, with the onboarding of young Danish left-back Victor Kristiansen, the situation seems dire for Thomas.
Rodgers did though talk possible competition for Luke Thomas: “That’s been lacking really. Most players respond to that, someone breathing down their neck. But I also think about the player’s health, they can’t play in every single game. So it’s important.” pic.twitter.com/sgyN5jzBAz

Don’t get me wrong, the Englishman has all the potential to be a reliable asset to the current squad, but somewhere the inexperience with limited chances has been nothing short of a hindrance to his growth.
Hot. Leicester interested in Brazilian winger – FoL’s take. light
The resurgence of the Leicester City squad will only happen when the stale mentality changes. Right now, we are in a mess- a mess where no dead weight will come in handy.
