Barnes 9: Maybe Barnes’s best game of the season? He provided two assists today and his first one to Iheanacho was sensational. I give him a lot of garbage but, he showed up today. Would love to see him score more. But, you can’t complain about that after his performance today.

Tete 8: His goal was beautiful today. He made Martinez look like a fool. We’ve desperately needed some Brazilian flare in this squad and boy did it show up today. He dribbles past players like it is nothing and he is always willing to send the ball into the box for a pass. Tete is also not afraid to put a shot on target. Fantastic debut today.

Iheanacho 10: You absolute beauty of a player! Two assists and a goal for what should be our starting striker for the rest of the season. Besides his finishing ability, he provides us with playmaking as well. The squad is much more versatile when he is in the game. I was mesmerized watching him play today. Hopefully, it was enough to impress Rodgers from here on out.

Substitutes

Praet 7: Fantastic goal for Praet. His first since early 2020. It was quite similar to the goal of Tete where he dribbled around the keeper and slotted the ball into the back of the net. Hopefully, he can continue this great form and be a key substitute for us the reason of the season.
