‘Madders’ fumbled with the ball at his feet when going forward a couple of times, had a shot which curled just wide of De Gea’s net, gave away a few balls in the second-half when Leicester had possession going forward. Won a free-kick in his prime territory but hit the wall.

Tete: 5 – showed skill in the first-half to cross the ball into United’s box multiple times, made a few poor touches on the ball, linked well with Castagne. Held onto the ball for too long.

Kelechi Iheanacho: 6 – put Barnes through on goal, made quite a few poor touches on the ball, turned and kept hold of the ball well, also had a header saved. Gave the ball away in the build up to the third United goal.

Harvey Barnes: 5 – linked well with Iheanacho but should’ve scored when he was one on one with De Gea, gave the ball away too easily at times. Wasn’t involved in the second-half and when he was he either lost the ball or stumbled.

Read. Stat proves James Maddison is up there with Kevin De Bruyne. light

Substitutions

Boubakary Soumare: 4 – didn’t make much of an impact after coming on, looked lost at times.

Youri Tielemans: 5 – made some important defensive tackles to stop United from breaking,

Dennis Praet: 5 – wandered into the middle too often so Leicester lost their natural width at times but defended well.

Jamie Vardy: 5 – also didn’t make an impact after coming on.
