Leicester City are reportedly interested in Mahmoud Dahoud. Here are the exclusive details from Ekrem Konur as the Foxes prepare for a busy summer.

The King Power club are gearing up for an exodus of players as several contracts come to their conclusion, and a few other names are likely to depart on less than wanted transfer fees. Regardless, there are plenty of names being thrown about.

According to Ekrem Konur, Leicester are looking into German midfielder Dahoud to replace the outgoing Youri Tielemans. After all, the end for our Belgian ‘Starman’ is very close. This being said, the progressive talent has not featured in every match, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Papy Mendy finding themselves in the side more often than not.

Exclusive Leicester City details

Foxes of Leicester asked Konur for additional details of the player who’ll leave at the end of 2022/23, and this is what we were told:

"“BVB will not continue with Dahoud. Agent is negotiating with clubs for him… Italy, England, and France… Leicester City is one of these clubs”"

Brendan Rodgers’ side are not the only team looking into the experienced player. Although he is not particularly a major player, he remains an interesting talent. It is particularly interesting to see the player might leave BVB on a free when his contract expires this summer: Dahoud is a second team talent so not featuring that frequently at the moment.
