Too many challengers make the challenge more challenging

The Foxes are fighting with sides such as Nottingham Forest, Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United, Leeds United, Everton, Bournemouth, and Southampton. The difference in their respective positions in the table spreads with a difference of only seven points.

It can all shuffle in the coming matchdays, and if Leicester City fails to cope, the pressure will choke the air out of their lungs with much fewer games in hand to make amends for their misfortunes.

We have to acknowledge the challenging predicament we are in right now. The least dangerous position is only three points away. Any team can usurp one another to secure their retention in the Premier League.

Fortunately, the Foxes are in line to have less challenging games now, as their first encounter with Chelsea could give them a fair chance to capitalize with at least a point. That game gets followed by an away trip to Brentford, which can be a tough test.

The next three games in line can provide Rodgers’ men to salvage the most out of their situation as they take on Crystal Palace and Aston Villa. That follows it up with an affair against a struggling Bournemouth.
