According to a report, Leicester City are targeting another in demand goalkeeper for a potential summer transfer. That man is Preston North End stopper Freddie Woodman.

Earlier in the week, FoL talked about the apparently serious interest in Sunderland’s Anthony Patterson. The King Power club are supposedly preparing a bid and Patterson might perhaps become the initial signing of summer 2023.

Now LCFC are supposedly monitoring the rated Woodman of Preston. This story claims that Leicester join Rangers and Leeds United in pursuit of the ‘keeper.

Speaking of pressers, the gaffer of the King Power outfit spoke on Thursday ahead of the Southampton clash. Leicester play the Saints this coming Saturday afternoon at Saint Mary’s Stadium. The fixture couldn’t have more riding on it for a bottom of the table contest, with both worried about the way their respective campaigns have developed.

Rodgers was impressed with Ruben Selles’ men versus Chelsea and Leeds. And the gaffer is well aware that a ‘physical battle’ awaits LCFC.
