If it continues like this for Leicester City, there is only one way- which leads back to the unforgiving depths of the Championship.

It has happened again: a subpar performance at home where Brendan Rodgers’ men should have salvaged something fruitful. There were no shortages of chances to turn the game around that LCFC squandered multiple times. Sadly, whether it was due to the lack of cohesion or decisiveness- Leicester City was unlucky in their repeated attempts. To add insult to injury, former City player Ben Chilwell opened the scoring for the visitors Chelsea, which was equalized rather brilliantly by Patson Daka.

After that, however, the game transpired on the misfortunes of the hosts, who looked indecisive in their approaches. With Bournemouth and Everton winning their games today, the table is changing rapidly. Soon, the King Power club might find themselves inside the danger zone, as they are only one point away from safety. The Foxes should retain the bad taste left behind from this game and try to act on it, as time is of the essence. The fight for survival has already begun!

Taking notice of the three worrying signs
