The reason Jesse Marsch declined Leicester manager job revealed
The supposed reason why former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch declined the respective Leicester City and Southampton manager jobs has been revealed.
Leicester supporters again seem rather split with regard to the club’s choice of bosses and the ambition of LCFC. While some delusional members of the Blue Army believed world-beating legends such as Zinedine Zidane or big-names like Mauricio Pochettino would consider taking charge at King Power Stadium. Well, that is not gonna happen. Anyway, not for the foreseeable future – you cannot rule anything out as a Foxes fan, as you know. And, apparently, Marsch was another gaffer who wasn’t impressed with Leicester’s approach.
Marsch was fairly impressive for part of his time at Leeds; I understood what he was attempting to achieve at Elland Road, arguably he just did not have the adequate personnel or backing to realise ambitions. I was also unsurprised when the American was linked with the vacant job on Filbert Way: his criteria is similar to a few of the now ex-LCFC employees and formerly prospective additions. However, Marsch was unimpressed by the positions in Leicestershire and at Southampton, according to former USMNT international Jimmy Conrad. Conrad claims he received insight into his compatriot declining the Saints and Foxes. The 49-year-old is said to have not fancied being in control of either club until the end of the season. Furthermore, Marsch may have been deterred by a lack of vision in the east Midlands and on the south coast.
Mass exodus expected at Leicester City if disastrous Premier League relegation occurs
Sources for Football Insider suggest that Leicester might perhaps be forced into a fire sale if they are indeed relegated this campaign. I can assure the outlet that this is the case as a natural occurrence. Harvey Barnes is now being connected with a move to Newcastle United as well as James Maddison, just to upset the faithful further.
