I believe Smith heads into this game with a five-back formation. The 5221 allows the fullbacks to join the attack while having extra support on the defensive line. Our backline looked rubbish against Everton. If Daniel Iversen didn’t have one of the best performances we’ve seen all season, we could have very well lost this game. So I believe Smith will realize he wants to push the action while still having extra support on defense.

Iversen is 1000% the starting goalkeeper for the rest of the season. It is still up for debate if he’ll be there next season. But as for now, he is definitely our guy between the sticks. His performance against Everton was simply mesmerizing. He looked like prime Kasper Schmeichel in between the sticks. Victor Kristiansen needs to be the starting left wingback.

Starting Luke Thomas was a big-time mistake by Smith. Hopefully, he realizes that Kristiansen is the real deal. Timothy Castagne will probably be the starting right wingback. Ricardo Pereira is really close to being healthy again. With Castagne making some idiotic mistakes this season, I want to see Pereira start again. However, I’m not starting him until he’s 100% healthy.
