Leicester City host West Ham United in the finale of the 2022/23 Premier League season. One which has seen deep lows for the Foxes. Here is how they survive.

This is the end game. Dean Smith’s King Power side have made it to the finale with all the work to do if they are to survive in the EPL. I will run through the possible permutations, as well as important news which affects our primary rival Everton. I will also briefly denote what we need to do to beat the Hammers.

Leicester City must win!

That is the short story of it. Of course, there is more nuance to it and with the points so close at the tail end of the table, where we finish exactly is entirely up to all three results. As per the Independent, let us start from the top.

Should Everton win their match against Bournemouth, then neither Leeds United or Leicester can possibly reach safety. At that point, it does not really matter which position we finish in, but a win or draw keeps us ahead of Leeds if they get the same or worse result from their match.
