How Leicester can beat the Hammers

Passion, possession, and constant aggression. The London-based club’s season is over, they have nothing but pride left to play for. As such, the one thing which can unsettle them will be an aggression to play and passion to win the ball incessantly; without doing so, there is little chance of victory.

This means Dean Smith must take a gamble. We cannot simply draw this one, we have to win. As such, an aggressive 4-3-3 with a midfield of Nampalys Mendy, Youri Tielemans or Boubakary Soumare, and James Maddison is a must. Arguably, I would play Ricardo Pereira at RW with Timothy Castagne at RB.

Additionally, I would start Luke Thomas and Harvey Barnes on the left. Daniel Iversen in goal, Caglar Soyuncu and Harry Souttar or Wout Faes in front of the goalie. Other than that, the striker has to be Kelechi Iheanacho to start. Parson Daka and Jamie Vardy should both come on later in the game to inject some energy and pace upfront.

I am confident that this can unsettle West Ham and lead to better results for the King Power hosts. However, being too defensive risks not creating a chance and suffering an unlucky one. Up the Foxes!
