Máximo Perrone: Midfielder Manchester City

Leicester City is shall lose a lot of midfielders this summer. The midfield is the most vital part to football success. We need to bring in midfielders at any cost. So the east Midlanders should aim for starlets who are not getting playing time at some of the biggest clubs in the world.

Máximo Perrone was signed by Manchester City in the January transfer window for £11 million. Since then, he’s made two appearances for a combined 20 minutes. Perrone has too much potential to be getting so little playing time. He is showing the world that at the U-20 World Cup. As a defensive midfielder he scored one goal and assisted on two in three appearances. The one game he didn’t play, Argentina lost to Nigeria.

The 20-year-old is training with the best in the world at Man City with the best coaches as well. With everything he has learned, it’s time for him to apply that knowledge with some playing time. A loan move to the King Power would guarantee him that playing time. He can play anywhere in the midfield. With LCFC needing that depth in midfield, he’d be fantastic for the team.

Ronnie Edwards: Defender Peterborough

Depth at the centreback position is a major worry for the team. Çağlar Söyüncü is leaving on a free deal to Atletico Madrid, Daniel Amartey is likely to leave on a free deal, and Jonny Evans is a 35-year-old who is injury prone. With how many games are played in the Championship, we need depth at this position. Bring in one of England’s hottest prospects at the position, Ronnie Edwards.

Edwards played in League One this season yet he is receiving interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and West Ham United. You know how talented of a prospect you have to be if Premier League clubs are wanting you for your League One performances? This is a move Leicester City needs to hop on.

Edwards is a 20-year-old who will likely not get much playing time if he signed for one of the Premier League clubs. He could get all of the playing time in the world if he were to be signed by the foxes. If Leicester were to rotate between Edwards, Wout Faes, and Harry Souttar, they’d be a massive problem to all Championship clubs.
