Leicester City have contacted a former Premier League boss, amid interest in another separate high profile manager being confirmed. Would you prefer Graham Potter or Ange Postecoglou to be appointed as the next Foxes gaffer? Foxes of Leicester reports and opines.

A ‘top name’ in the Leicester hotseat, or Graham Potter, would really help many of us disheartened Blue Army members to get over the recent heartache of Premier League relegation. In all seriousness, I think Potter remains a great boss who was in the wrong place at Chelsea Football Club in their currently odd incarnation. Though the Englishman is surely unlikely to consider a Championship side when he will probably have EPL teams chasing him, even if they are lower table outfits.

On the contrary, LCFC might perhaps be seen as having a team which belongs in the big time and a chairman with the backing and intention to see them straight back there. Potter would be ideal to partially orchestrate and definitely oversee a Brighton & Hove Albion-style makeover at King Power Stadium, if you ask me. Irrespective on my view, a claim in the news states that City have contacted the ex-Blues boss.

It seems doubtful that either Graham Potter or Ange Postecoglou would join the current Leicester City

So, the Foxes want Potter to takeover, as you can read here. Leicester are apparently long-time admirers who still remember the good work done at Ostersunds in Sweden and at Swansea City, not to mention with the Seagulls. Furthermore, Khun Top Srivaddhanaprabha is said to be mulling a proposal to Ange Postecoglou of Celtic. Another gaffer who may get the more favourable EPL call from Tottenham Hotspur, it is suggested.

In my humble, realistic opinion, Dean Smith will likely be asked to continue on Filbert Way. I presume that having John Terry and Craig Shakespeare is seen as a plus point by LCFC chiefs, along with some fans.
