This past season can’t get any worse than it already has, right? That is where you’re incorrect. Leicester City facing relegation already left a sour taste in our mouth. Sadly for us, some of our potential former players want to add some salt into the wounds.

Youri Tielemans and Harvey Barnes are both looking for a move away from the club this summer. However, they’re not just looking for any move. They’re both looking for moves to our rival clubs.

Both Tielemans and Barnes are betting favorites to join rival Midlands club, Aston Villa. This side under new manager Unai Emery had a fantastic season. After securing a spot in the Europa Conference League, Villa will play European football for the first time since 2010. With European football now on the horizon, their side is looking for star power and depth. That is where the Leicester boys come into play.

In just the Premier League alone, Tielemans made 151 appearances and contributed 21 goals and 20 assists. The Belgian midfielder is the definition of aura. The goals he scored were always beautiful ones. His highlight reel with the Foxes will always be one to be remembered.

Barnes was quite successful at Leicester City himself. In his 143 division appearances, he scored 35 goals and assisted 25 more. This past season was his most efficient season when it came to scoring as he was able to get 13 goals in the back of the net.

If Villa were to sign both of these players, they would get a big time boost in talent and experience. These are two gifted athletes who have had success in Europe and the FA Cup. Emery’s mouth must be watering with the chance to sign these players.

Unfortunately for the Villans gaffer, his team is not the only ones interested in the pair. Newcastle United is also in the mix for both of these players. Along with that, West Ham United is interested in Barnes; Burnley and Galatasaray are monitoring in Tielemans.

Both of these players seem locked in on leaving KPS this summer. If they were to exit for an outfit at odds with LCFC, it would be the cherry on top of an awful cake.
