Wilfred Ndidi: Was subject to interest from Rodgers’ Celtic which seems to have cooled. The Nigerian was too inconsistent last season, but under a new manager, he could find his form from a few years ago.

Harry Winks: Leicester fans will be eager to get a look at what Winks has to offer in midfield after his move from Tottenham Hotspur.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: Both he and Winks could be an intriguing midfield especially if Maresca wants to press high on teams.

Wanya Marcal-Madivadua: Has impressed in Leicester’s youth teams and deserves to be given some first-team action.

Kelechi Iheanacho: The Nigerian international continues to be linked with moves away from the King Power Stadium, Maresca will be hoping he stays as the forward could be the key to promotion.

Tawanda Maswanhise: Much like Marcal-Madivadua the 20-year-old will hope he gets a chance in the Championship this season.
