Mads Hermansen; Ricardo Pereira, Jannik Vestergaard, Wout Faes, Callum Doyle; Wilfred Ndidi, Harry Winks, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall; Timothy Castagne, Stephy Mavididi; Patson Daka.
Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei set to join Leicester City
New Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s probable revolution at Stamford Bridge coincides with evolution for the east Midlands side under former Manchester City coach Enzo Maresca. Players have swapped Filbert Way for Fulham Road on quite a few occasions in recent history. N’Golo Kante, Danny Drinkwater and Wesley Fofana are names that come to mind. Now a Blue could become a Fox, at least temporarily, as the Italian aims to pull off a potential transfer coup.
Cesare Casadei is highly rated at CFC, so for him to come to the Leicestershire team on loan will be a possible boost on the pitch. In addition to that factor, Casadei coming to LCFC may signify that the club still has some pulling power in the market. The prospective agreement would be similar to taking someone like Cole Palmer on loan from the Citizens, which was widely discussed as a possibility over the summer.
Regarding Casadei, famous and respected figures such as Fabrizio Romano revealed that the King Power outfit were serious about securing the young Chelsea midfielder. And it appears that Maresca has convinced the west Londoners. According to The Telegraph, Casadei was not given assurances over Chels’ playing time this term and therefore he is departing for a while.
