Leicester player ratings from 1-0 Huddersfield win
Vestergaard 7: I was impressed by the experienced Danish defender today. He made some reckless tackles that got him carded. Outside of that, he had a successful day and was able to stop a dangerous Huddersfield attack.
Pereira 7: We saw a good performance from one of the best to ever wear a Leicester kit. He was all over the right side of the pitch for 84 minutes.
Dewsbury-Hall 7: The Foxes have scored three goals in the second tier of English football and KDH has contributed to all three of them. He scored twice against Coventry City and he assisted today. Besides the assist, KDH was trying to push the tempo today. The attack was struggling to get shot attempts off. KDH was guns blazing the whole game.
Winks 6: Not a massive game for Winks but he played his role. Brought the ball from the defensive line towards the attack. He got back on defense while helping the attack. Nothing huge but a performance the squad needed.
Praet 4: He was rubbish today. Praet had two chances at getting easy goals and he blew both opportunities. With a game that was as intense as this one, the squad needs goals to take the intensity off. Praet only made the game more stressful.
Mavididi 8: Such a fun player to watch. Mavididi is dangerously quick and can take on any defender one on one in the EPL. His goal today secured the squad three points. The English winger is going to be a fun player to watch this season.
Marçal-Madivadua 6: The potential is clear as day but today was underwhelming and sloppy. It was mistake after mistake and that lead to him being subbed off early. I still expect great things this season.
Iheanacho 5: The Warnock gameplan left Iheanacho clueless. He consistently had a man on him and he couldn’t do anything. Iheanacho’s strengths looked like his weaknesses today. He could not shoot the ball and he could not pass it either.
