Foxes of Leicester predict some likely outgoing transfers as a trio of Leicester City players now seem to be among certain candidates to leave the King Power club.

The transfer window is open until September 1, so that’s roughly two weeks at the time of writing. This means movements will still transpire on Filbert Way. Leicester manager Enzo Maresca confirmed as much whilst simultaneously admitting that he wants three or four further signings to arrive before the summer ends. However, in this brief article FoL shall focus on possible LCFC leavers.

You see, the weekend’s Foxes team selection decisions revealed quite a bit of unfinished in-house problems. For example, two previously first-choice goalkeepers were on the substitute’s bench as the impressive Jakub Stolarczyk, 22, claimed a consecutive clean sheet. This means either Danny Ward or Daniel Iversen will exit, probably for good. Or both stoppers might perhaps leave, possibly by loan. Meanwhile Harry Souttar and Victor Kristiansen continue to be omitted while respective transfer rumours swirl.

Next up for Leicester City

There is a short wait until the next LCFC match; Cardiff City are the upcoming visitors to King Power Stadium on Saturday at 3pm BST. The east Midlands team appear to be the favourite to claim victory. The Bluebirds are currently 17th in the Championship having lost 2-1 to Queens Park Rangers and drawn with recently relegated Leeds United respectively.

For what it’s worth, Google’s win probability predictor has the Foxes down as 64 percent probable victors. Now, the following statistic did surprise me slightly: the Welsh team have been victorious over Leicester on more occasions historically; Cardiff have beaten the other City 25 times but only lost 23 fixtures against LCFC. Matches between the pair began in 1920; even in recent times, outcomes have varied with spoils regularly going either way or ending in deadlock.
