Foxes of Leicester bring the Blue Army some Leicester City transfer news and views. Today we discuss Belgium international centreback Wout Faes as he makes an ambiguous statement about his future with the King Power club.

On Wednesday, reports suggested that French midfielder Boubakary Soumare wanted to leave the Foxes. In addition to that, the onetime Paris Saint-Germain Academy player is said to be unwilling to compete in the Championship. Prior to that apparent revelation, it was reported that Wout Faes sought a transfer away from Leicester as well.

Although, Faes has now given an interview stating that he is fully focused on Leicester, “for now”. But the defender leaves the door open for his own switch, so to speak. Due to the transfer window being active, he suggests that “you never know what can happen”. That is hardly fully committing to the cause.

Former Leicester City star Youri Tielemans makes admissions

Tielemans, now with the Foxes’ Midlands rivals Aston Villa, has opened up on the past couple of campaigns he endured at King Power Stadium with his previous team. The Belgian says he is now enjoying a fresh start in Birmingham. He states that this is partially because his performances for the Leicestershire outfit were unsatisfactory for a couple of seasons. In fact, the midfielder believes that results would have been better for the club and his the Belgium National Team in that period if he had performed better.

Furthermore, Tielemans talks about possibly letting supporters down, but admits that he let himself down too. He does, however, understand that he ‘set the bar high’ with previously great efforts on the pitch. Obviously the highlight for the Blue Army is the ex-Fox’s worldie to win a maiden FA Cup for LCFC. That memory and accolade ensures that the 26-year-old will be forever fondly remembered on Filbert Way.
