If reports are to be believed, a further two important players in Enzo Maresca’s squad may leave Leicester City in next few days. Although one isn’t playing, he could still be vital for the Foxes. What’s happening with Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka?

According to Football Insider, Leicester may lose both Iheanacho and Daka before the transfer window is no longer active. While the Blue Army would come to terms with the overall disappointing Zambia international departing, coming to terms with a hypothetical exit for the Nigerian is a more difficult scenario to digest.

Iheanacho is not just a fan favourite, he is now also an integral part of Maresca’s side. Nevertheless, Wolverhampton Wanderers want the former; LCFC will listen to Daka offers.

Leicester City transfer details revealed in claim that Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has now completed his King Power medical

After a longstanding deficiency in the department, two wingers have finally joined the east Midlands side. Along with the generally positive impact of Stephy Mavididi, big things are expected from Yunus Akgun, especially in the Championship. Not to mention two breakout young Foxes widemen this season: Kasey McAteer and Wanya Marcal-Madivadua. McAteer is actually competent when competing in a number of roles; Marcal is already an early fan favourite.

But LCFC supposedly haven’t stopped inquiring for more. They want further wing options, and have another versatile man on their radar to back or support the others. Although, the plan might perhaps be for this signing to play centrally in an attacking capacity.

The potential eighth senior squad acquisition of the summer is due to arrive on loan from Sporting Lisbon. There is an option in the agreement for the 19-year-old to join permanently next year.
