Potentially vital Leicester City player expected back soon
A potentially vital Leicester City player is expected to feature competitively soon after finally making a reported return to training. Foxes of Leicester on likely Foxes leader Conor Coady. The former Everton centreback has a big heart, character and passion for the game.
Enzo Maresca has lost a match as Leicester boss at long last. The great run of six consecutive victories in all competitions always felt precarious. The margins were pretty much constantly tight and the Foxes have not been able to get firing on all cylinders yet in attack. Obviously eventual champions are regularly noted for their robustness and durability for winning in less impressively on challenging occasions. Imagine the current east Midlands side when they are performing to their utmost capacity.
Now the LCFC defence is slightly under pressure after a defeat at home to Hull City. There is no disaster here for the King Power team, certainly not at the moment. Although, the ex-Manchester City coach would definitely like his men to start functioning more fluently on the field. However, the subsequent pair of opponents are Southampton and Norwich City, both potential promotion rivals of Leicester. Work needs doing, but I feel that the Italian has already shown himself more than capable of taking the Leicestershire outfit back to the Premier League promised land.
In other Leicester City news, Conor Coady could be back for some important fixtures
Leicester fans were excited about the addition on Coady at the start of the summer. And the club must have been very satisfied with his arrival, too. Surely the onetime Wolverhampton Wanderers defender would have been as successful as fellow new man Harry Winks from the beginning of the campaign if fit.
Thankfully, it seems as though Coady might perhaps be available soon. Here is an update on his status:
"Conor Coady is close to joining the Leicester City training group, which will comprise 17 players during the international break.Out with a broken foot since July, Coady is on schedule to be available for selection by the end of September, with the next step a return to training. He is due to be back on the grass with his team-mates next week"
