Norwich 0-2 Leicester: 3 Foxes positives and negatives
Here are 3 Leicester City negatives to take from the game!
Cesare Casadei
The Italian midfielder failed to impress in his first start in the Championship for Leicester. The Summer signing could not really get involved in the game and looked a little bit off the pace in his 57-minute cameo. Casadei was dispossessed on three occasions and only completed 10 of his 16 passes.
Maresca clearly did not like what he was seeing and he and Yunus Akgun were hooked off before the hour mark to be replaced by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Wilfred Ndidi
Failure to put the game to bed earlier
Although on this occasion Norwich could not muster up a clinical finish, on another day Duffy heads in the equaliser and Leicester may not win a game that for the most part they dominated. Of course, when you win the game it is hard to be too critical but there will come a time when Leicester concede a late goal when they could have killed the game.
Mads Hermansen’s wobble
Despite putting in a POTM performance and being named as one of the positives above, his poor pass to Ndidi gave Kenny McLean the chance to curl one onto the crossbar. There is still work to be done, but it is a process and you have to expect there to be the odd mistake playing this new style of play. I’m scraping the barrel a bit here.
