3 Leicester City players that must start on Friday night!

No one foreseen a comeback quite like the one we are seeing from the Dane. His Leicester career looked set to come to an abrupt end last summer but under Maresca, Vestergaard looks like a centre-back reformed. Vestergaard is the linchpin to Maresca’s defensive set up. His range of passing is so important and has one of the highest number of passes in the league this season.

When Leicester are playing against teams that are reluctant to press the big Dane will put his foot on the ball and wait for them to do so. But while his passing has been a key part of his game he has rarely put a foot wrong defensively with big blocks and tackles. The Danish international also managed to get on the scoresheet for the first time in his Leicester career as he bundled in a cross against Swansea in October.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

The academy product is debatably the best player in the league this season and his contribution so far this season is evidence of that. The midfielder had five goals and five assists this season and is the club’s top goalscorer.
